Why Stop Online Abuse

Awareness raises a flag. A movement changes the system.

Online abuse is evolving faster than the tools meant to stop it. We exist to build the connected movement — and the ecosystem — that actually protects people.

The Problem

Online abuse touches everyone.

It isn't a niche issue or a single bad post. It reaches into classrooms, homes, workplaces, and communities — and it affects real people every day.

Children

Exposed to risks they're not equipped to navigate, often before they understand them.

Teenagers

Cyberbullying, peer pressure, and image abuse during the most formative years.

Creators

Coordinated harassment and reputation attacks that threaten their livelihood and wellbeing.

Families

Parents struggling to protect their kids in spaces they didn't grow up in.

Educators

Teachers asked to keep students safe online without the tools or training to do it.

Communities

Groups and movements targeted, silenced, or torn apart by abuse and misinformation.

The harm is real and lasting: anxiety, isolation, lost opportunities, and in the worst cases, tragedy. And it falls hardest on the youngest and most vulnerable.

Why Current Solutions Are Not Enough

The pieces exist. The system doesn't.

Awareness alone is not enough

Knowing abuse exists doesn't tell a frightened teenager what to do at 2am. Awareness informs — it doesn't protect.

Reporting alone is not enough

Reporting buttons are inconsistent, slow, and often lead nowhere. Victims are left to navigate fragmented systems by themselves.

Technology alone is not enough

Tools without community are cold; algorithms without human judgment cause new harms. People need people.

Today's responses are fragmented and reactive. There is no unified, proactive, community-powered infrastructure for digital safety. That gap is what we exist to fill.

Our Approach

Not one solution — a connected ecosystem.

Because abuse is multi-dimensional, the answer has to be too.

Movement

We build a culture that treats safety as a shared responsibility, not an afterthought.

Community

We connect people so no one faces abuse alone — support, solidarity, and collective action.

Education

We equip students, parents, and educators with practical digital-safety skills.

Technology

We build ethical, human-centered tools — transparent, privacy-first, and always with a human in the loop.

Partnerships

We work with schools, NGOs, and organizations to reach people where they are.

A long-term ecosystem

Each layer strengthens the next — awareness to community to tools to lasting change.

The Future We Want To Build

A safer internet — by design, not by luck.

Imagine a world where a young person facing harassment knows exactly where to turn — and finds a community ready to help. Where parents and teachers have practical tools, not just warnings. Where technology supports human judgment instead of replacing it.

We're not promising to fix the internet overnight, and we won't pretend to. We're building, step by step, with honesty about what exists today and what is still ahead — a future where safety is a right, not a privilege.

This is bigger than a campaign.

Help build the world's leading digital safety movement.
